Clinical supervision

Professional supervision for clinicians working with complex, layered young people

Integrated supervision

With over 15 years conducting neurodevelopmental assessments in tertiary mental health and private settings, including more than a decade in a true multidisciplinary team at Monash Health alongside psychiatry, occupational therapy, and speech pathology, I bring an integrated, cross-disciplinary lens to supervision. I hold AHPRA endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology and am a Board Approved Supervisor and Registrar Program Principal Supervisor for Clinical Neuropsychology. It’s deeply rewarding to watch clinicians find their own clinical voice and build real confidence in this specialised, sometimes isolating practice.

Who I supervise

Clinical neuropsychologists

Endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologists seeking supervision or case consultation, particularly with complex, co-occurring profiles.

General psychologists

Mental health professionals building their skills in neurodevelopmental assessment, neuroaffirming practice, and formulation across layered presentations.

Allied health professionals

Occupational therapists, speech pathologists, social workers, and other allied health clinicians strengthening their neurodevelopmental formulation and neuroaffirming practice, including ad hoc consultation on specific complex cases.

Clinical neuropsychology registrars

As an approved Registrar Program Principal Supervisor for Clinical Neuropsychology, I can take principal responsibility for registrars working toward AHPRA endorsement, including supervised practice, documentation, and competency development. Enquiries welcome.

My supervision philosophy

Supervision isn’t really about mastery. It’s about depth, integration, and confidence.

My approach goes beyond testing techniques and scoring conventions to focus on the conceptual, integrative, and intuitive aspects of neurodevelopmental work. Every supervisee brings their own strengths, learning style, and clinical history into the relationship, and supervision is shaped to fit that.

Clinical supervision services

What we’ll work on together

  • Neurodevelopmental assessment methodology and conceptual integration
  • Complex, layered case formulation through a neuropsychological lens
  • Neuroaffirming formulation that genuinely serves clients
  • Report writing that’s useful to families, schools, and other clinicians
  • Navigating family dynamics and delivering challenging feedback
  • Building clinical confidence and trusting your clinical judgement
  • Reducing the isolation of specialised practice

What supervision can offer

  • Greater confidence in clinical reasoning and decision-making in complex cases
  • Stronger assessment methodology and more sophisticated formulation
  • Deeper command of neuroaffirming practice principles
  • A more grounded professional identity, with less isolation in your work

Ad hoc case consultation

Some clinicians don’t need ongoing supervision but would benefit from a focused conversation about a specific case. Allied health professionals (especially occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and social workers) often reach out when an assessment or referral sits outside their usual frame, particularly where there’s medical or neurological overlay. A neuropsychological lens applied to formulation can help untangle what’s going on. I offer single-session consultations for exactly this purpose.

Common questions

What is your clinical background?

I hold a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology from Monash University and AHPRA endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology. I have been a Board Approved Supervisor since 2020 and am also an approved Registrar Program Principal Supervisor for Clinical Neuropsychology.

I have over 15 years of experience in the neurodevelopmental space, including more than a decade as Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist with the Endeavour Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Team at Monash Health, working alongside psychiatrists, paediatricians, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists. I also bring years of private practice experience to supervision.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes – all supervision is via telehealth. Video sessions work well for supervision, and they make it easy to connect wherever you’re based.

Do you offer single sessions for specific cases?

Yes. Supervision can be tailored to address specific clinical concerns – a complex case formulation, a difficult family feedback session, a report you’re working on, or a moment in your professional development. Whether you’re working with me regularly or coming in for one-off consultation, supervision is shaped around what you need.
